Sony A7CII (2024)
I've been using my A7C a lot the last couple weeks. Previously I wasn't really enthusiastic about it, but that has changed. A big part of that was shooting the roll of Harman Phoenix, seeing what it does with colors and grain, and wanting to re-create some of that.
I've added more contrast, de-emphasized the blue end of the color spectrum, and added grain. Phoenix is a bit harsh, so I didn't go as far trying to emulate it. This takes the sharp sterile result out of the camera, sanding off the rough edges and adding a bit of mood to the photo.
Now I get to make digital photos and apply a bit of what I like about analog film. And that makes it much more fun to use the rather expensive camera I got.
Rollei B35 & Portra 400 (2024)
It's kind of trashed, but there is something charming about it.
I shot another roll in this area with the Canon, but it was Velvia slide film and my usual place stopped developing film. I found a new place, but it's a bit slow.
